Dress Up

Nothing to wear? Probably not quite true, but wouldn’t it be easier if we just streamlined our wardrobes to 50 must have pieces? That’s what I’m doing anyway...

Travel capsule

One of the great things about having thought strategically about my wardrobe is that packing to come away was a breeze and I don’t actually need to buy any clothes in London. It’s taken the whole pressure of “must go shopping for a new wardrobe” away leaving me free to scan the stores from an overall retail perspective and hence making the trip to London somewhat tax deductible. Seriously, by the time I packed my white tee, orange tee, stripey tee, trackpants, blue pants, feminine dress, that was me sorted. There is a repetitive navy blue, orange and white thing going on, but like I care! My years of mindlessly shopping for clothes are over. I know what I like/need and I already have it in my wardrobe. I’d rather reserve my brain power to think about more important things such as how the hell am I going to afford to buy a getaway flat in London….

But one item that I have to put a good word in for is sandals. Living in them. Will be buying a new pair, as I am thrashing this old Country Road sandals from 3 summers ago.
